How much does a Merlin BTS License Key cost?

A Merlin BTS License Key is $39.99 as a one-time purchase - no subscription, no renewal. There is also a free tier: register via
POST /v1/licenses/free for a BTS key with a trust score ceiling of 65. No card required for the free tier.
Can I transfer my BTS key to a different agent?

No. BTS key binding is permanent and irreversible. One key is permanently bound to one agent ID. This is by design - the key is your agent's identity on the trust network. If you need a second agent, you need a second key.
What is the refund policy?

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. If your key has not been activated and bound to an agent, we will issue a full refund. Once a key is activated, it cannot be refunded - the permanent on-chain binding makes it irreversible. Email [email protected] to request a refund.
What is the free tier trust score cap?

Free tier keys have a trust score ceiling of BTS 65. Pro tier keys (purchased at $39.99) have a ceiling of BTS 85. Sidecar-verified telemetry is fully uncapped. Upgrade from free to pro to unlock higher scores for your agent.
Does Merlin include an LLM or model?

No. Merlin is BYOLLM - Bring Your Own LLM. You connect your own language model (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any open-source provider via compatible API). Merlin provides the identity layer, trust scoring, and behavioral evaluation - not the model itself.
How is the BTS trust score calculated?

The BTS score is a 5-factor weighted score: Constraint Adherence (35%), Decision Transparency (20%), Behavioral Consistency (20%), Anomaly Rate (15%), and Audit Completeness (10%).
